Survey Background Information/Summary:
MenopauseRx conducted a survey regarding kidney stones and calcium intake.
This survey found 12% of respondents have had a kidney stone in the past. Of the kidney stone sufferers, 6% were told not to take a calcium supplement. Thirty two percent of respondents were not taking a calcium supplement, despite considerable evidence that most women do not obtain enough calcium via their daily diet.
