MenopauseRx BioIdentical Hormone Survey Sent February 24, 2005 - 1440 Responses within 72 hours
Survey Background Information/Summary:
We conducted a brief nation-wide survey
with women who have ever taken hormone therapy, were currently on it, or had considered taking it.
This survey revealed that a large number of women are interested in learning about bio-identical hormone therapy and topical hormone therapy to help with troublesome symptoms of menopause. There was significant confusion regarding the terms bio-identical hormones and compounded hormone therapy as they relate to FDA approval.
